His memory goes back to good old days and when Microsoft Data Platform evolution really started with the moments like: Ancient SQL 2000 gets replaced by SQL 2005 with full and rich Microsoft BI stack. As a reporting platform, there was SQL Reporting Services, then Microsoft Scorecard Manager 2005, then Performance Point Server, then Performance Point integrated within SharePoint, then BI addons came out (Power Pivot, Power Query, Power View), and then Power BI came in and grew on its own as a serious data visualization platform. In the same time traditional BI evolved to Cloud Azure platform with full range of services and while analytical SQL Server Analysis Services got his companion Tabular Model with rich data modeling options as well as new DAX language which enriches many flexibility of the older brother MDX.

Mladen currently works as a Data Analytics Consultant and Sr. Business Intelligence Developer at Dimensional Strategies Inc. based in Canada and still enjoys his BI journey working with many clients in North America.
